What is Codeground’s coding interview platform?
Codeground AI lets startups and small hiring teams run remote technical interviews with a shared Monaco editor, LiveKit video (Ground Call), a live integrity feed, and structured scoring — without buying a separate HackerRank-style stack.
How does anti-cheat / integrity monitoring work?
During an interview we track tab switches, window focus loss, copy/paste (when disabled), fullscreen exits, optional eye-tracking, and require full-desktop screen share. Browser-tab shares are rejected. Pure audio AI assistants can still evade browser checks; an Integrity Agent add-on is planned for deeper OS-level signals.
Is Codeground interview software free for small companies?
You can create and run coding interviews after signup. Pricing focuses on AI and workspace usage; interview sessions are designed to be approachable for startups and SMBs. See Plans for current limits.
Do candidates need an account?
No. Share a unique interview link — candidates join the live editor and Ground Call without creating an account.
