Speed & latency test
A quick browser-side check of download, upload, and response time — useful for comparing Wi‑Fi, VPNs, or tethering. Uses real transfers (not a single tiny file), so numbers better reflect usable throughput.
Ping—msRound-trip to edge
Download—Mbps
Upload—Mbps
What this is for
You get a rough idea of whether your connection is healthy for video calls, large downloads, or cloud sync—right from the browser, without installing an app.
Ping is an HTTP round-trip to a nearby edge, not the same as an ICMP ping from your OS. Upload may be unavailable if your network blocks the upload endpoint.
Before you run it
- Uses a noticeable amount of data—avoid on metered connections.
- VPNs, proxies, and browser extensions can change results.
- Results are indicative only—not a certified ISP speed certificate.
