Typical messengers

Coming soon · 1 DecMost messengers start with your phone number and your contacts. Pluto starts with privacy — encrypted messages, spam-free invites, and a name you choose instead of a number everyone already has.
Messages are locked for the people in the chat. Pluto isn’t designed to read your conversations, and neither should anyone sitting between your devices.
Sign in with Google and choose a Pluto name. Friends find you by handle — your phone number never becomes your public identity on the network.
No “upload your whole address book so we can blast everyone” growth loop. You choose who to add. Quieter chats, on purpose.
History stays on-device. Pluto doesn’t keep a readable cloud copy of your messages. Uninstall or wipe data and they’re gone — unless you’ve saved a backup first.
Message peeks stay off until you turn them on. Your lock screen doesn’t have to advertise every conversation.
Optional encrypted backups use a passphrase you choose. Keep a locked copy in Drive app data or as a local file — Google doesn’t get the key.
The difference
Download Pluto on Android — encrypted messaging without trading your phone number for an account.
